Project overview
Lexa, a spa and wellness brand, commissioned us to design and develop a web-based platform to streamline their reservation management process. The platform needed to cater to both spa administrators and clients, allowing for seamless booking, scheduling, and managing spa services. Our goal was to create an intuitive platform that improved operational efficiency for the spa while providing a frictionless experience for customers making appointments. The platform also required features like service customization, staff management, and real-time availability tracking.
Visual Style
The visual style for Lexa platform was designed to evoke a sense of relaxation and luxury, in line with the brand’s spa services. We used a calming color palette featuring green pea, light sage, and white to create a soothing digital environment. The interface relied on clean, minimalist design principles, ensuring that users could quickly find and book services. Typography was elegant yet simple, complemented by subtle interaction to enhance the overall user experience without overwhelming them. Icons related to wellness helped guide users through the platform seamlessly.
Challenges
One of the primary challenges was to design an intuitive dual-interface system—one for clients making reservations and one for spa administrators managing bookings and staff schedules. Ensuring both sides had streamlined workflows without unnecessary complexity was crucial. Another challenge was integrating real-time updates for service availability and syncing this data with the admin dashboard to avoid double bookings or conflicts. Additionally, the platform had to support multiple locations, different service providers, and variable pricing models, all while maintaining a fast, responsive experience.
